Terms of service

FOR OWNER LEGAL REVIEW — these terms are a careful default written by the build team. Please have them reviewed by counsel (including the governing-law section, which is deliberately left open) before launch, and edit this page from the admin at any time.

These terms describe the understanding between you and lovekept when you order a personalized keepsake from us. They’re written to be read, not to intimidate — if anything here is unclear, ask us.

Made to order

Every piece is personalized and made to order. When you place an order you’re asking us to create something that doesn’t exist yet, from the names, dates, words, and photographs you provide.

Your content

You confirm that you have the right to use the photographs and text you place on a piece — that they’re yours, or that you have permission from whoever holds the rights. You keep all rights to your photographs and words; you grant us only the limited permission needed to prepare, print, and deliver your keepsake, and to keep the records described in our privacy policy.

Our review

We review every piece by hand before printing. We may decline to produce content that is unlawful, hateful, or that we reasonably believe infringes someone else’s rights — if that ever happens, we’ll tell you plainly and refund you in full.

Accuracy

The preview you approve is what we print. Please check names, dates, and spellings carefully — they will appear on the finished piece exactly as you entered them. Our hand review is a safety net for things that look wrong, but it cannot know a spelling you intended.

Prices and payment

Prices are shown before you pay, and payment is taken when you place your order. If we cancel an order for any reason, you receive a full refund. Cancellations, damaged deliveries, and returns are covered on the shipping & returns page, which forms part of these terms.

Delivery estimates

Production and delivery times are honest estimates, not guarantees. If your order carries a service date we watch it closely, and if we believe a date is at risk we will contact you promptly — but we cannot accept liability for a carrier’s delay once a piece has shipped.

Our responsibility

If we get something wrong — a piece that doesn’t match the approved preview, or arrives damaged — we will remake it at no cost or refund you in full, whichever you prefer. Beyond that, our total liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
